Moroccan Hand-Knotted Boujad Rug 1034 // 211 x 133cm
Bold enough to make a statement, considered enough to sit beautifully in any room. This hand-knotted Boujad rug has a geometric linear design in washed black and cream on a warm pink base - a combination that feels both graphic and soft at the same time, with the naturally dyed wool giving the colours a depth and warmth that only handmade pieces achieve.
Boujad rugs originate from the Khouribga region of central Morocco, made by Berber women of the Boujad tribe who have passed their weaving traditions down through generations. While many Boujad rugs lean into free, abstract patterning, this piece has a more structured, geometric character - a linear repeat that gives it a confident, considered feel without losing any of the warmth and humanity of the handmade.
This rug was individually selected by us from our trusted network of artisans and rug experts in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains — family businesses with generations of knowledge. Woven from 100% naturally dyed wool, it has a soft medium pile and is warm and comfortable underfoot.
At 211 x 133cm it is a versatile size — ideal as a bedroom rug, a layering piece over a larger neutral floor covering, or a living room accent rug in a smaller space. Its warm pink base makes it a natural companion to earthy terracotta tones, warm neutrals, and natural wood.
