Hand-sourced in Morocco, these candle holders come from the ancient pottery village of Tamegroute close by to the Sahara. Striking in design, these candle holders are as much sculpture as they are functional objects. Each piece is individually thrown and glazed by local artisans using a rudimentary process that has remained unchanged for centuries - resulting in the distinctive mottled green and olive tones that Tamegroute pottery is renowned for.

The geometric cut-out cross design in these pieces adds depth and drama. No two pieces are identical - there may be natural variations and small imperfections within the glaze and form, bearing the mark of something genuinely handmade.
