This bathmat is made using cotton yarn which is tufted onto a cotton backing, leaving a surface of looped yarns. To achieve these bathmat's distinctive texture, portions of the surface pile are shorn into a super-soft shag, while other areas remain cushiony, rope-like loops.

Cold Picnic is a US based brand created by Phoebe Sung and Peter Buer, who both have fine art backgrounds. All pieces are designed in their studio in Brooklyn.
