'Outside Over There' hand-woven rug by Cold Picnic, featuring an abstract design in cantelope, turmeric and black, on natural un-dyed hemp ground, from their latest 'Outside Over There' rug collection.

Cold Picnic is a US based brand created by Phoebe Sung and Peter Buer, who both have fine art backgrounds. All pieces are designed in their studio in Brooklyn.

Made from 100% hemp yarn - an ecologically friendly plant that requires little water and no pesticides to grow. It is also renewable and biodegradable. The colours in these rugs may vary slightly because these are made from natural fibres, something which Cold Picnic (and ourselves) celebrate, this as part of what makes these natural pieces special. 

Handmade in India by skilled artisans, Cold Picnic work with a Goodweave and C&F certified production unit, which use 100% dependent on solar energy to manufacture their rugs.
