Moroccan Hand-Knotted Boujad Rug 1043 // 235 x 150cm

A striking one-of-a-kind piece, this hand-knotted Boujad rug features a bold abstract linear design in black on a warm grey base — graphic yet deeply human, the kind of mark-making that only comes from a skilled artisan working by hand.

Boujad rugs originate from the Khouribga region of central Morocco, made by Berber women of the Boujad tribe who have passed their weaving traditions down through generations. No two pieces are ever alike — each rug is its own artwork, shaped by the weaver's individual expression rather than a template or machine.

Our collection of sourced rugs are carefully and individually selected from Morocco, working with our long-standing and trusted artisans and rug experts based in Marrakech and the Atlas mountains, working in their family run businesses who have worked with Moroccan Berber rugs for generations.

Woven from 100% natural wool, it is soft underfoot with a medium pile that will bring warmth and texture to any room. At 235 x 150cm it works beautifully as a living room rug, bedroom rug, or layered over a larger neutral floor covering.

Dimensions: 235 x 150cm (excluding tassels)
