Moroccan Hand-Knotted Beni Mrirt Rug 1029 // 230 x 164cm

A study in quiet sophistication. This hand-knotted Beni Mrirt rug has a soft linear design in pale fawn and black. What adds to it's beauty is how that design is created. Rather than through colour alone, the pattern emerges from the texture itself: flat weave sections shifting against a deep, luxurious pile to produce a surface that is as tactile as it is beautiful.

Beni Mrirt rugs come from the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco, where the Beni Mrirt tribe have woven using the finest local wool for generations. That heritage is immediately apparent in this rug - it is substantial in weight, exceptionally dense underfoot, and built to last a lifetime.

This rug was individually selected by us from our trusted network of artisans and rug experts in Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains - family businesses with generations of knowledge. Woven from 100% naturally dyed wool, it sits in our premium collection and represents some of the finest hand-knotted craftsmanship we stock.

Its neutral fawn and black palette makes it one of the most versatile rugs in our collection — equally at home in a pared-back, minimal interior as in a warmer, more layered space. At 230 x 164cm it works beautifully as a living room rug or bedroom rug.
