The Aegis Ring, crafted from six golden Gorgoneion medallions arranged in a wreath around the finger, by Australian jewellery brand Cleopatra's Bling.

Founded by Olivia Cummings, Cleopatra's Bling is the result of a life long love of travels and trinkets. With her time split between Melbourne, Paris and Istanbul - Olivia treasure hunts in the Istanbul Grand Bazaar for pieces that she hand-carves and reworks into new designs, with a hint of nostalgia.

About Aegis: Both Athena and Zeus are said to have carried an Aegis on their person, with the Aegis providing protection and power to Athena, and the Gorgoneion is worn today as part of that same tradition.

Handcrafted and individually cast, each piece is unique, which we believe is what gives it its beauty.
