Sourced on our recent trip to Marrakech, these individual fruit bowls have been made in the Rif Mountain region of Morocco in a style typical to that of the area. Made from local clay and using natural pigments for the hand-painted designs, and fired using traditional methods. 

As these pieces are unglazed, they are only suitable to be used as fruit bowls or for other dry foods / objects. They can be washed with soap and water, but should not be put in the dishwasher or used with oily foods.

Please note that there are natural imperfections to these pieces due to the handmade nature. We think this adds to the charm.
