Hand-spun and handwoven cushion cover, by Memòri, who work with craftswomen in the Anti-Atlas mountains to create pieces using ago old traditional techniques.
The front of the cushion is made from 100% Siroua wool (an endangered sheep living in a volcanic massif with very long wool fibres), and the back is 100% cotton woven in Morocco.
The decorative motifs painted by hand with henna paste and several tinctorial plants with hand embroidered sections applied to the cushion.
This cushion has been designed by Joana Frazão Duarte in the Anti-Atlas mountain region.
